Amy lives in Mt. Pleasant with her children, and she spends her days with Rhode Islanders who never imagined they would end up homeless. She is the Regional Access Point Coordinator at The WARM Center, connecting unhoused neighbors to shelter, healthcare, and basic necessities. Before that she taught special education in public schools.

Like so many of her neighbors, she works a second job to support her family, cooking for a catering company. She knows what it costs to live here, and she's backing the Affordable RI plan to change it. Housing people can afford to stay in, healthcare and childcare that don't eat a paycheck, fully funded public schools, and wages that make full-time work enough.
