Matthew came to Rhode Island through the Navy and chose North Kingstown to raise his family. He and his wife Deborah raised two NKHS graduates here, and he never stopped serving: the VFW, Moms Demand Action, and now the Town Council.

He knows families here are getting squeezed from every direction, and he's backing the Affordable RI plan to change it. Housing people can afford to stay in, healthcare and childcare that don't eat a paycheck, fully funded public schools, and wages that make full-time work enough.
